CIVIL/STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER - IRELAND
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a multidisciplinary professional consulting engineering
practice with expertise includes Civil and Structural Engineering
Mechanical, Electrical, Transport and Environmental Design Services.
They are seeking to recruit a Structural Engineer with a minimum of 3
to 5 years relevant experience with experience in the Civil and
Structural design of commercial, residential & industrial buildings to
join our team in Dublin.
The main responsibilities of the role involve:
Production of calculations, specifications and drawings for a wide
variety of projects.
Brief and supervise engineering technicians.
Participate in engineering design reviews/client and project
meetings.
Assist in the mentoring of graduate engineers and technicians.
REQUIREMENTS
Scheme design and detailed design of steel, concrete and other
construction materials.
Be capable of liaising with clients and attending site meetings.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years post graduate
experience and intend to achieve Chartered Engineer status in the
future.
A good knowledge of European and British Standards.
An enthusiastic and proactive approach to problem solving would be an
advantage.
